When you publish your dashboard to multiple users, you want users to see only relevant data. With access defined at the account level, you can create groups with certain capabilities and filtering capabilities and assign users to them. You can individually determine which filters can be applied for each widget.
About reporting periods
CYS has a flexible approach to what a year is and allows you to report on fiscal year or calendar year. What suits your organization and what is needed for your reporting. In addition, we use Smart periods and Manual periods. The smart periods are automatically calculated periods that allow you to see the progress and trends you want.
To provide maximum flexibility, you can change the reporting period setting per dashboard and allow dashboard users to toggle and switch between periods within each dashboard. You can set the standards to avoid discrepancies with the rest of the organization about what is reported, but without losing the flexibility for the users of the dashboards and guarantee complete insights.
